We really lucked out for beautiful February weather for this wedding. The skies were blue and crisp and the sun was shining and warm. This couple really wanted to capture the romanticism of Valentines Day since their wedding was just 2 days before. Who would have thought we would have a 55 degree day in January?

This weather wasn't the only stunning element of this "Winter" wedding. Every little detail was well thought out and executed. It helps when you work with a great group of vendors as well. I'll let the pictures tell the rest...

For this ceremony we arranged the ceremony to face our breathtaking fireplace in the Pavilion. It really adds such a warm feeling...the hot chocolate helped too!

It's hard to believe October is coming to an end. The leaves have changed and fallen, the air has turned cool and crisp.

This pink and navy blue themed wedding had tons of little details. From the pink parasols, pink up lighting, wheat grass escort cards and delicious chocolate dipped pretzels from the Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory. We can't forget the weather for this wedding too! An afternoon thunderstorm rolled through again but made for some amazing pictures once again. It never gets old having full rainbows over Sanctuary!

This wedding had all of the rustic yet elegant details to perfectly complement the natural surroundings of Sanctuary. From pine cone escort card holders to hot red bridal shoes, this couple really paid attention to the details. The show stopper for this wedding had to be the amazing weather. From rain to rainbows, clouds to firey sunsets...they really picked a great day! Those afternoon thunderstorms can really make for some amazing pictures and backdrop for the reception.

The beach to the Rockies and Sanctuary. The original wedding location for this couple was supposed to be in Mexico, but unfortunately last minute changes had to be made to hold the wedding here in Colorado. In choosing a new location for their wedding, they had two requirements...a Colorado mountain feel and amazing views. So what better place than Sanctuary! The colors of the wedding were really beach like, with slate blue, ivory and chocolate brown. They brought in paper lanterns to really add some extra fun and pop to their decor. We may not have an ocean, but we definitely have some amazing views of the Front Range.

Brandon and Felicia visited with us here at Sanctuary a couple of weeks ago. It was a cold day and there was snow on the ground, but they had a ton of fun riding and driving the golf cars and hitting golf balls and snow balls!

Spring Snow! It was a winter feel for this wedding being that we received over a foot of snow the day before. The colors they chose for their wedding were Red, Black and Ivory. I LOVE the veil headpiece the bride wore instead of a long veil. The red roses really did pop against the white snow!

PINK was a very popular color in April. This wedding also had Hot Pink, Black and Ivory as their colors. They kicked off the cocktail hour with a band, Dressed in Black, then the music switched to a DJ, A Music Plus, after dinner. There were some great clouds in the backdrop of the Pavilion for the ceremony. See below!

Spring has finally arrived! As well as wedding season here at Sanctuary. It's been chilly, snowy and windy the last couple of months, but aside from the weather we've had some beautiful weddings. The color theme of this wedding was Hot Pink, Black and Ivory. They did some fun things with their decor, like these lampshade floral centerpieces. Every year Sanctuary decorates the Clubhouse with holiday decorations with 15 foot tree with all of the trimmings, lit garland and much more. For this wedding they incorporated our decorations into their decor and it turned out beautiful and very festive!

This wedding definitely captured all of the elements of a fall wedding. The linen they chose was a gold and chocolate brown. They rented gold chiavari chairs which looked amazing in the Great Room. The flowers were predominantly sunflowers with hues of deep red and yellow.

"Whimsical" would be the word to describe this wedding day. Even though you couldn't see the beautiful views surrounding Sanctuary, the fog and mist really made for a romantic setting. Brinton Studios really captured how whimsical this wedding was in the middle of September!

This wedding was so much fun. Since the groom is in the Military, the happy will be moving to China in the next couple of months since he is being stationed there. Good luck to them over seas!

This wedding was a blast. The bride and groom met while they were both living in Santa Monica California, but now reside back here in Colorado. They had many decor elements that caught my attention so I thought I would share them with you. From beach cruisers to vintage style vases, the attention to detail was apparent. Congratulations to the lovely couple!

The Road is Officially Open!

After more than nine months (felt like an eternity), the entrance to Daniels Park is open from Castle Pines Parkway and Santa Fe! We are all beside ourselves with excitement. Here is what the construction is focusing on:

1) improving the entrance to Daniels park off of Castle Pines Parkway and from the south off of Daniels Park Road

2) modifying the existing intersection of Castle Pines Parkway and Daniels Park Road.

The cost of the construction is $2.8 million.
